You can choose any bowl, whether itsplain or fancy — whatever you prefer. But we would like to recommend you to go with a non-porous bowl (i.e. not wood).  After that, you will need salt. Try to use natural sun-evaporated sea salt. Black sea salt, pink Himalayan sea salt, kosher diamond crystal salt, Japanese big-flake salt or any other kind of salt can be brought. Put salt in a bowl and add some drop of essential oil into it. For essential oils, you can choose tea tree, lavender, or thieves blend, garlic, rosemary, rue, bay leaves, and many other protective herbs. Keep this salt bowl in the corner of your house.
